Our partners in France are preparing for the pilot
La Casemate science centre, the SPACE Consortium partner located in Grenoble, France, and its partner the science teacher training organisation La Maison pour la Science Alpes Dauphiné took the next steps towards the deployment of the pilot programme of the SPACE Consortium project.
La Maison pour la Science and La Casemate organised the first teacher training on 19 January for 9 teachers who will have the opportunity to test the pilot. During this meeting, teachers were introduced to the global project and got acquainted with the first six lessons. Very interested, the teachers got to know the project better and exchanged some resources. They will be able to start involving their students from February onwards. One class is already testing the first lessons so that first adjustments could be made. Students appeared to be very excited and motivated about the activities, which is amazing news for the pilot!
The french pilot programme will involve more than 500 pupils from Mars to June with the Space Buzz vehicle stopping in the city one week in May.
