We have a liftoff!
The first week of the European tour of the SPACE Consortium pilot programme is already behind us and it was a blast! During the first week of the tour we stopped in a handful of cities in Hungary: Budapest, Hernádnémeti, Hódmezővásárhely and Zánka. More than 800 school children and their teachers experienced the “Overview Effect” over the course of the past week — more than 260 on the first two days in Budapest alone!
Here, we collected some impressions of the first week of our European tour.
As a symbolic start and a nice energiser for their spaceflight experience, we gave the kids the challenge to hold up the globe as long as possible… and a great energiser it was!
Zánka at Lake Balaton was the last stop of the tour in Hungary and had some beautiful views in store for the team.
After a great start to a four-week-tour through Europe, the SpaceBuzz travels to South Tyrol in northern Italy, visiting the towns of Gais and Bruneck.
